Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the SnipSesh website and services at snipsesh.com (the "Service"), operated by SnipSesh ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent.

2. Description of Service

SnipSesh provides tools for athletes, coaches, and recruiters to create highlight reels from video footage. The Service allows you to:

  • Extract clips from YouTube and Veo video URLs by specifying time ranges
  • Organize clips with titles, tags, and metadata
  • Compose highlight reels with transitions, intro/outro cards, branding, and recruitment information
  • Download and share the resulting highlight videos

3. Token Economy and Payments

3.1 Free Tokens

All accounts receive 5 free tokens per month. Free tokens do not roll over between months.

3.2 Purchased Tokens

Additional tokens may be purchased in packages through the Service. All purchases are processed by Stripe. Prices are listed in USD and are subject to change with notice.

3.3 Token Costs

  • Clip extraction: 1 token per clip
  • Highlight composition: 5 tokens base + 1 token per clip included

3.4 Refunds

If a highlight composition fails due to a processing error on our end, tokens are automatically refunded to your balance. Purchased tokens are non-refundable once successfully consumed for a completed operation. For billing disputes, contact us at billing@snipsesh.com.

4. User Content and Conduct

4.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create using the Service, including clip metadata, highlight configurations, uploaded logos, and the resulting highlight videos. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your content solely to provide the Service to you.

4.2 Source Video Responsibility

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to use the source videos you submit for clip extraction. This includes having the right to create derivative works from the footage. You must comply with the terms of service of the source platform (YouTube, Veo) and any applicable copyright laws.

4.3 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to process videos you do not have the right to use
  • Create highlight reels containing content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or that infringes on the rights of others
  • Attempt to circumvent token costs, abuse free token allocations through multiple accounts, or exploit the refund system
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
  • Use the Service to overload, disrupt, or interfere with our infrastructure or other users' access
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit access to the Service without our written permission

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by SnipSesh and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The SnipSesh name, logo, and related marks are our trademarks. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or branding.

6. Content Expiration and Deletion

  • Highlight outputs expire 30 days after creation. Download your highlights before they expire.
  • Deleted items are moved to a recycle bin and can be restored within 30 days. After 30 days, deletion is permanent.
  • We reserve the right to delete content that violates these Terms or applicable law, with or without notice.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Video processing times depend on source video length, clip count, and system load. We reserve the right to perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that may temporarily affect availability.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnipSesh is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, lost revenue, or missed recruiting opportunities. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SnipSesh, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the Service preferences. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Purchased but unused tokens are non-refundable upon voluntary account deletion.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 14 days before the new Terms take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
