The SnipSesh website, application, user interface, design, code, logos, trademarks, and all related documentation are the intellectual property of SnipSesh and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
No part of the Service may be reproduced, distributed, modified, or transmitted in any form without prior written permission from SnipSesh, except as expressly permitted by these terms or applicable law.
2. User-Generated Content
Users retain full ownership of content they create using the Service, including:
- Clip titles, tags, and metadata they provide
- Highlight reel configurations (branding, recruitment info, stats)
- Logos and images they upload
- The resulting highlight video files generated from their content
By using the Service, users grant SnipSesh a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to process, store, and transmit their content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
3. Source Video Content
SnipSesh does not claim ownership of any source video content processed through the Service. Users are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights to use source videos for clip extraction, including:
- Personal game footage— Videos of your own athletic performances that you or your team have recorded
- Team-authorized footage— Videos shared by your team, league, or organization with permission to create highlight reels
- Licensed content— Videos for which you have obtained a license or permission from the copyright holder
3.1 Fair Use Considerations
Creating highlight reels from game footage for personal recruiting and educational purposes may qualify as fair use under U.S. copyright law. However, fair use is determined on a case-by-case basis. SnipSesh does not provide legal advice and makes no representations regarding the fair use status of any particular content.

SnipSesh respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content on our Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) to our designated agent:

- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed

5. Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA, SnipSesh maintains a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of copyrighted material.
6. Third-Party Software and Licenses
SnipSesh uses open-source software in the operation of the Service. Notable components include:
- FFmpeg— Licensed under the LGPL/GPL. Used for video processing, clip extraction, and highlight composition.
- yt-dlp— Licensed under the Unlicense. Used for downloading source videos from supported platforms.
- Next.js— Licensed under the MIT License. Used for the web application framework.
These licenses apply to the respective software components and do not extend to the SnipSesh Service as a whole.
